i got the phone off of craigslist and want to use it with cincinnati bell.
i doubt at&t will give it to me the phone is in freeze,it was that way when i got it now the ad is gone i have had the phone for 2 months trying to fix it,and when you posted the flash file for it it finally came back on.
the phone was blank the screen would not light up or anything except for the keypad it would light up after being plugged in to the wall charger for a long time so i plug it into my laptop and pressed the lock and volume button and it started loading the drivers on the laptop but the screen was still black until i flashed it the it came on and i tried to use cincinnati bell sim and that's when i found out it was in phone freeze and network lock
if you can help at all i will be very grateful thanks a bunch for what you have done already!!!!!!!!! Smiley Smiley

You will need to contact a 3rd party unlocking service like those found on ebay.

Is it possible to flash this phone with the firmware of another Samsung phone?

I was thinking of flashing the firmware of my Eternity with the firmware of the Eternity II.  Shocked

Not possible. Been talked about before.

Drivers for each phone are different, and there are different hardware (Eternity II has downgraded specs...)

Download option won't appear while its in bootloader mode.  If the phone is on, the download option is there but i get a security warning.  My phone is lock mode and is completely useless.  NPS is installed, and when the phone is on, PC studio Recognizes it, it just says initializing.  Phone is in password lock not network lock.
