luie,
You had mentioned at one point adding a widget to the flash file, does that mean you found the pre-installed widgets and if so I would love to see the att navigator widget if you could extract it from the flash file. Because it links to an application and if I could disect it I may be able to figure out how to link a widget to an app. like opera or bolt.

Haven't found it yet. Also, I'm still in Mac OS X, I'll reboot into Windows XP right now.

I can't seem to get QPST to work either, it's a headache.

If you find them let me know because even thou the inovator site says it is not possible to link to an app. the att navigator widget does just that links to an app and we know where that app. is located so if I could see the directory path that widget uses it may very well be the key to getting widgets to link to an app or game.

That's what I think because all our apps are stored in the same location the only diiference is nav. app is  a locked folder but same place. I think it is the missing key.

Thank you, I now have a full copy of the firmware and am going to be trying to do the flash.  I have not been able to get the phone into bootloader mode though, it will not power up at all, the battery is full but it will go to the att screen and then blank out with nothing on previous attempts.  Here's hoping I can get everything to line up and work for me.

You have to hold the down volume key, then hold the power button.

You should ask Agoattamet. I think it may have to do with how you installed the app or the app files itself. I'm not an expert in apps. Wink

If you flashed the phone where did the google maps app come from? It is not included in the original firmware? Phone should have been fresh at this point. Properly installing google maps should work without any issues.

What did you flash exactly? The full firmware, or just the boot screen files?

If you flashed the .ffs included in the download I provided in the first post, you shouldn't have any apps on your phone after rebooting.
