So everyone wants widgets. Well here is a way to get them. I posted a few down below that worked on this phone. There are others i will list after I try them out. I dont want to risk anyone elses phone. So here is how to get them.
There are 2 ways to get widgets. We need someone to host them on their site with the appropriate code. Or you can register at the samsung innovator site.
http://innovator.samsungmobile.com/wgt/cp.do?platformId=12This link is for the widget test page. After you register you can upload widgets here to the test page and then download them to your phone using a pin widget (or the pin widget link below) that you will have to download from the bottom of this post first.
You can use the link below to install the pin widget or just use it in place of the pin widget. Your choice.
http://widget.samsungmobile.com/pin.jspYou upload a widget to the test page by clicking on register. You will have to enter a name and a description and hit save. To download select the pin download method. This gives you the pincode to enter on your phone in the pin widget or the pin widget link.
Then using the pin widget enter the pincode and you will then download and install the widget.
I had issues getting the pin code to connect the first time. Change your browsers network profile and then reboot your phone. Then change it back to medianet and it was able to connect.
If that doesnt work for you then try this. Edit the widgetstatus.ini file with TKFE. It is located in the registry folder of your phone. Upload it to your pc and open it with wordpad or notepad. Change NetworkAccess from a '0' to a '1' and save it. Then download it back to your phone and reboot your phone. This also has to be done so the translate and accuweather widget connects to the internet.
One more thing. There now is a way to delete widgets. Peanutbutter has found that by going to menu/settings/reset settings and select 'display and light' and hit reset. All installed widgets will be gone and you can start over. Only thing you will have to do is set your wall paper, font type, greeting message, transition time, brightness, and backlight time. All can be found menu/settings/display and light.
The translate widget will translate from one language to another and there are many languages to choose from. It is a now a newer version that Bantam has edited it so it shows the translation in a white box. Thanks Bantam. Just install over top of previous version if you installed it already.

You add them at your own risk. I nor the forum or anyone associated to the forum will be held responsible for the mods or the downloads you use on your phone. I have now included my own browser shortcut widgets. Thanks to Bantam for the coding help and sickwitit for some of the graphics.
