I'm really interested in knowing a way to hack my samsung impression to do things such as switch off the 3g to save battery, access the internal GPS and other things.  I was really hoping someone on this site would know an easy way to do this with little risk to my phone.  Thanks!

I've been browsing the site and I am interested in goatbreaking my phone, although I can't find the specific instructions.  I'm gonna keep looking but do you mind pointing the way. I do sound like a noobie, but I am new to hacking cell phones. I am a seasoned vet however in hacking iPhones and if anyone needs help with their iPhone or iPod touch I'll be glad to trade  my expertise for some impression knowledge!!!

jailbreak and goatbreak are very different. Jailbreak is done on the phone. Goatbreak is done to each app when installed and they need special permissions like using the gps, bt, accessing the internet without being asked every 5 seconds, and to be able to access the phones files.  There is a sticky on Goatbreaking.
