Why does everyone keep asking if this is for free internet?  Roll Eyes  It is the network settings for Rogers. Rogers is a cellphone company in canada just like T-mobile, ATT, and Telus.

Does your wap browser on the Impression work after putting in these settings, because mine goes as far as the HomePage and i can only access my account information but nothing more.
How do you really make the browser work  on the Impression??

These settings only work if you have a PAID data plan through Rogers in Canada. You have to make a new network profile using these settings. Then you need to point medianet to use this browser profile as well as any other application that accesses the internet.

The problem I keep stubbling on is.. when i log on my MediaNET, the browser tells me "DNS failed". On another website I found that I can put in a proxy address which was 10.128.1.69. with that proxy, i was able to get into the main page without it telling me "DNS failed", but I am not able to go any further... and I do have an active data plan because its included in a package in my Rogers plan.. I hope you can help me with this.. btw.. I do LIVE in Canada and have a ROGERS network

I have no problems using Rogers while in CA visiting the inlaws.  Well one problem.  ATT charges a boat load for international roaming!  But it was like using the phone in the US.  Perfect connectivity, cruised data just like here in the States.  Repetitive I know, but trying to make the point.  The interesting thing was that while my phone picked up Rogers, the wife's phone (also an Impression) used Bell's network.

Cathy I don't know your settings. Other than having the new network profile set up, you do have medianet set to use it? And you did choose a different home page instead of the default home page for ATT users?  I don't believe the proxy will help you.
