I have been constantly finding myself running across the house trying to get the phone before it goes to voicemail. Is there a way to increase how long the phone rings before transferring to voicemail?

Menu , settings , calls , voice call , call forwarding , no reply . Then use the drop down menu under waiting time . 30 seconds is the most .

I don't think so. I mean, until I got my answering machine, my house phone would ring until someone picked up. I'm not saying that should be the default, I just wish it was an option.

Don't call forward. Then either you'll answer or they'll hang up.

I tried selecting "cancel all", but it didn't do anything. It rings for 20 seconds and goes to voice mail.

Edit: So I set everything to deactivated but it still only rings for 20-30 seconds. when I click More > Check status it switches back to activated.

Edit2: I contacted At&t support to see if it was an issue with the network not letting me deactivate it. As far as I can tell it was. However, they said the max time they can let it ring is 30 seconds. this is bullshit.

edit3: apparently the customer support agent doesn't know jerk. Deactivating the voicemail through at&t worked. It now continues to ring.

Thank you Smiley

I figured out how to get to my ringing time, but when my choices appeared, pressing the down button didn't do anything, so I thought 20 secs was the max. Since I saw that you could have up to 30 secs, I went ahead and tried the touch scroll and I found 30 Smiley
