I am curious if wi-fi is possible on the Impression.  I had the idea of using a USB bluetooth adapter in a broadband computer, then bluetooth the internet to the Impression.  I know it sounds foolish and kind of a waste of time on the much smaller screen; however, it could be used to transfer games/apps/etc. to the phone by accessing the website on the phone for free via Bluetooth wi-fi.  If this pairing is possible, it would be both easier than and probably more stable than TKFE.  I don't intend to plug another website, but here is where a measly $1.71 can buy the adapter in question: http://cgi.ebay.com/USB2-0-BLUETOOTH-WIRELESS-USB-DONGLE-ADAPTER-VISTA-WIFI-/160431011146

Any thoughts or comments on this idea?

P.S.  Sorry about the whole URL listed, I couldn't figure out how to abbreviate it into a "hyperlinked word".

Long-time Cingular/AT&T user; I've owned & used these devices, in order from oldest to newest: LG CE500, Motorola ROKR E1, Samsung Sync, HTC 8525, & Samsung Impression [AT&T replacing it with the LG Vu Plus].

I upgraded due to AT&T's rude desire to require the $30/month smartphone data plan!  So, I have an unlimited messaging plan only.

it sounds like a great idea in theory but once you get to the nity gritty stuff there are a lot easier ways to do it. First of all you can always install games and apps via tkfe or using BlueFTP which is super easy to do.

Also that adapter that you have found will work you just have to have a program on your device that you want to allow it to work its just that finding a great program to work with our phone is hard since people are turning more to a smart phone which you have to have a data package and most of them have wifi anyways
