1)Unzip and Install QPST on your computer.
2)Unzip and Install the qualcom drivers on your computer . 3)Put your phone in pc-studio mode.
4)Go to the service menu on your phone. *#197328640# select 9 common select 6 usb configuration select 2 qualcom usb press OK and the end call button.
5)Connect your phone to your pc. At this time a new device may install. Just next through it.
6)Start up QPST configuration found now in your start menu.
7)It will show some ports on the screen. If you see one that says FFA/SURF 6290 (DEADD00) you are in business, proceed to the next step. If not select add new port and in the next window put a tick in the box for show serial and USB/QC Diagnostic ports only and select OK. If that particular port still isnt showing then repeat step 4 and disconnect and reconnect when your phone tells you. Your port should be showing now.
8)Click on the Start Clients tab and select EFS explorer. In the new window you should see the port with the FFA/SURF 6290 (DEADD00). Just press OK
9)You should see a window saying please wait. This may take as long as 5 minutes. It is actually loading your phone on your computer.***Elevator music playing***
10)When your filesystem appears click on phone tab and select exclusive access.
11)This works just like windows explorer. And is similiar to TKFE. You can drag to and from the desktop with this app..
12)When you are done select the file tab and click exit. It may reboot your phone for you if changes were made.
13)repeat step 4 but this time set it back to samsung usb to restore phone's usb setting to normal.
Good Luck.

The drivers are an exe file. Just run it. It does all the work.
No disconnect errors but you have a 5 minute wait to connect. I still prefer TKFE myself.

I seldom use qpst. TKFE is more user friendly if you could believe that. But it seems we have those that still cant connect to TKFE for unknown reasons. This is basically an option for them.

I dont have a rogue so I cant tell you. It doesnt matter if you can connect to the rogue. It is a verizon phone that only runs brew apps. Not much at all you can do to that phone. And bitpim would be the application to use.

Just delete them or move them to a folder. You can make changes before you disconnect the phone from qpst.

Anytime you do something to your phone not approved by ATT you risk bricking it.

I would use TKFE if I could first. But you need to follow the directions. If you try to delete things you arent supposed to delete you can brick your phone.
