I will be getting new service and phone soon and like what I am reading about the Impression.  I am wondering if it can use the SlingBox App (i.e., interface with home TV over the internet).  Does anyone know?

Also, does anyone know if AT&T has blocked that signal over their 3G like they did for the iPhone?
Thanks!

I pulled this right from sling box.

Our SlingPlayer Mobile software is compatible with Windows Mobile, Symbian, and Palm OS devices. SlingPlayer Mobile supports any type of Internet connection on your mobile device, including 3G cellular services such as EV-DO or UMTS, Wi-Fi, USB, or Bluetooth-based connections. SlingPlayer Mobile software costs $29.99 (one-time fee) and you will need a data plan or WiFi connection on your mobile device. We currently do not support Blackberry or iPhone mobile devices

I currently use a server program called Orb.com. I have a tuner card in my computer that I have my cable tv cable hooked to. I can stream any tv channel with local tv guide, movies on my computer, mp3's on my computer, photos, documents on my pc all to my phone over the internet. It also has internet radio streaming and internet tv streaming. The video quality is not perfect but the whole setup is free as long as you have a tuner card and you can leave your computer on which I do all the time.  Tuner card only needed for the tv.

Wow!  That saves $200.

I assume that bypasses AT&T blocking the signal also (like they do for the iPhone).

Thanks a million!
