It is sad because someone will give up a phone because of a locked screen that they never really see. Whatever floats your boat. Its a phone not a customizable portable computer. Some people forget that.

for the price of the thing i should be able to fully customize it. why not? it is a portable computer but they programmed it not to be. and i'm going to return it get a different phone and buy an itouch because thats what i wanted in the 1st place. and i seen the locked screen often enough that it is annoying especially because i took the time to create my own graphics for the thing

I believe its an iphone not an itouch if you are looking for a phone. Oh, and the impression isn't a computer but just a phone. Every little thing on it can't be customizeable.

Whoa!! This person is not a loser because he has a different view on things!  He apparently has the $, so why not get what he wants! People Think I'm crazy because I get new cellphones, or new tv's, but because I worked all my life, & saved to do what i want,  I hope that doesn't make me a loser!! I really don't care if it does!  Quig

To each his own!

No he isnt a loser but very misguided. Just because this phone resembles an iphone everyone thinks it can mow the grass for you. No it isnt cheap. But there are many other phones on the market that are not cheap and can do half as much as this phone can. And besides that there are many places to get this phone well under $100 dollar or even free.

So what the locked screen can't be changed. If you went out and bought a $500 dvd player would you take it back because they didnt let you change the screen saver on it.  The samsung phones are some of the most popular phones all over europe and asia. And to my knowledge they can't change their locked screens either on the j2me models.

But if he is unhappy with the phone and he wants an iphone then so be it. He will pay twice as much more and twice as much on a dataplan.

I called him a loser because he wanted an Iphone to start with, but gets the Impression for some reason...then is mad because its not an Iphone...he is a loser, and i mean that in the nicest way possible (maybe not so nice.)  I dont care about who doesnt like the phone, it doesnt matter to me if some1 likes the phone or not, it annoys me when some1 doesnt like the phone BECAUSE ITS NOT A SMARTPHONE....its a feature phone, NOWHERE on the box or any ad, or any forum has anyone EVER called this phone a SMARTPHONE...so why does everyone expect it to be like an Iphone...i also called him a loser because he put "i really like this phone," and is crying about some pics u barely ever see...dude is a loser (and that one is not nice at all.)

If thats what you think makes a person a loser, more power to you. I'm not trying to change your opinion, i just think he has a different thinking process.   To me thats not a loser? whatever? No hard feelings here, just different opinions of what makes a loser.   Quig

Can anyone answer this question for me?  Are there any phones on the market where u can customize your locked screen?  I am almost certain all phones just go to a blank screen until it is unlocked...i could be wrong, but im pretty sure thats the case =/.

That is my point Damien. My last phone I had i couldnt customize crap. So this phone is like 300% better. But some people want it all. They think it should change like a transformer into a lawn mower. I have no clue where people get these ideas that they think everything should be customizeable.

Oh and my last 2 phones I paid more for than my impression. And the one didnt even have a camera.
