unlocked impression cannot recieve mms

hey guys, new here and wasn't sure where to post this so bear with me. i just bought an unlocked impression off eBay and went to test the phone out to make sure everything works with it being unlocked and since i have Cincinnati Bell service. everything works perfect on my cincy phone, internet, texts, and mms. with the impression i cant get it to send or receive and mms. when i click retrieve it says something like unable to retrieve service unavailable or something. i haven't tried internet yet but I'm guessing its going to say the same thing. any ideas on how to get past this? i read that some people with T-Mobile service had some code thing they had to do to get it to work. is it the same with cincy bell? if so does anyone know what the code is or if theres a website to go to?
