I did a search but did not find 'how to'.

How does one bring up the virtual keyboard?  I can use the qwerty and the the phone dial keypad but not sure how to do this.  I plan on using the qwerty but would like to know how to bring it up.

Also, did anyone get a phone user manual for this phone? Mine came with two quickstarts slicks but not an actual manual.

just keep the qwerty keyboard closed, but turn the phone on its side, and the virtual keyboard will come up. I'll attach the user manual from the AT&T site.

Thanks for the reply.

Before I posted this question, I tried that and it didnt do anything.  But I just noticed that i have to click the black part of the screen when texting then the virtual keypad appear.

Does everyone else's phone work as soon as you tilt it?

Does the main menu also turn to landscape mode if you turn the phone on its side?

Mine does not.

no it doesnt turn you have to slide out the keyboard to get it to turn on its side and even then the wall paper doesnt flip only the menu icons do and that manual isnt very clear on how to do things and doesnt tell you how to do everything

Thats perfectly normal.
And to flip the menu icons, you have to slide out the keyboard. The netfront browser and pics flip on their own though, without sliding out the keyboard.
