Dont you have a volume control on your bluetooth? Turn it up. Just Kidding.

Your volume for you bluetooth can be adjusted the same way. Instead of spk or ear select bt. Look for <RX_QTUNE_VOL> I believe the values go from -160 to -40. Try adding 20 to each value to start. So they would be -140 to -20. If thats not loud enough add some more. This will increase mp3 volume.

For calls. Look for <RX_CALL_VOL>. They range from -80 to 40. Try adding 20 to each of these values also. You would have -60 to 60. Adjust to your preference.

Ok, just tried this, however it is changing ALL the values each time.  ie- I put in to change the code from -16.0 to -12.0, it will change them all down the line.  If I go to put in the next value, it changes them all, including the ones I just changed above it... any help???  now they are all set for 16.0 for my BTH MP3 volume...

Unfortunately the bluetooth does this. The values cannot be changed in the service menu like this.

Follow this post. Just use the BT file.

I know. I just dont want anyone else bricking phones if there is something wrong. The only one I didnt use on my phone was the bluetooth one. So I am assuming it has to do with it.

So if I go in and attempt to fix it, any chance of bricking as noted above?  Undecided

I attempted the same thing you did and all my settings changed except for the single one. I did do this to restore back to normal.

About the bricking. I modified the files so you could just write them over and increase your volumes that way. Evidently I had wrong values somewhere which caused 2 phones to brick. So I removed the modified files. The original ones should still be good. I havent had a chance to look over the modified versions to see what might be causing the problem.

Thanks for your help.  I will attempt this over the holiday weekend and report back my success.

If you want to increase your bt mp3 you can use the original bt file you downloaded from the other topic.

Open it using notepad and here are the chnges I made to mine. Make sure they are exact as not to add or delete any spacing or punctuation.  Then resave it and download it to your phone.

#---------------------------------------------------------------------------
# [2] AV-QTune(MP3)
#---------------------------------------------------------------------------

<RX_QTUNE_VOL>   1
-1500      # 1 Level
-1400      # 2 Level
-1300      # 3 Level
-1200      # 4 Level
-1100      # 5 Level
-1000      # 6 Level
-900      # 7 Level
-800      # 8 Level
-700      # 9 Level
-600      # 10 Level
-500      # 11 Level
-400      # 12 Level
-300      # 13 Level
-200      # 14 Level

This should increase the bt volume when listening to mp3's.

Then just add like another 4 to each number. Its not rocket science.

So I had previously increased my speaker volume by 1 setting and now when I am on speaker phone and sometimes on a regular call, it goes to static.  I am still connected to the call, but cannot hear anything.  Anyone else experience this and what did you do about it?

Ok have not attempted the fix yet, or the increase.  I want to make sure I know what I am doing before going in.  You say to "resave and dowload it to your phone."  After I open the BT file from above in notepad, how do I download it to my phone and overwrite the existing files?  Thanks.  Like I said, I have not seen what it looks like in TKFileExplorer, so it may be obvious when I attempt it, but thanks for the help...I will attempt it with the original setting prior to going in to increase them as described above.
