Hi, I changed some values in Service Menu *#197328640# to increase the volume of the mic. and its working fine. but after I turn off my mobile then run it the volume back to the default level 88 while I change it to 100.
how I can save these changes?

You can make them louder if you want. But changing the numbers too high may blow your speaker or distort the sound.

If somebody could help me out I'd forever be in debt to you lol.

So I just ordered a new phone off ebay since my old one broke and it works good except that I can barely hear people when I call.  My ringtone and such works fine, just the actual call volume.  I've tried messing around with this guide and nothing has worked... I'm not sure what to try next.  I'm crossing my fingers that I won't have to send the phone back and be phoneless for a week+... any ideas on what to do? Sad

I'm assuming you tried this already, but press the volume up button while in a call to turn up the volume.
If it's up all the way, then try doing a master reset of the phone (i'm not sure of the code right now but I know it's on the forum somewere) which will reset the values in the internals (WARNING: It will remove ALL data on the phone, so BACK IT UP!)

Hey, I think that worked!  I just did it and called my voice mail and it seemed normal.  I'll have to wait until tomorrow to fully try it out.  I wonder what the seller on Ebay might have done to the factory settings...

Hey what's up everyone?

I've been looking at the mp3 equalizer menu where it appears you may customize the frequency, gain and q for the individual music player presets, ie rock, classic, jazz, dance and whatever the other is.  Smiley

Trouble is I haven't been able to change any of the defaults. I select a setting (0-8) and the mode changes from R(ead) to W(rite) but I don't know the format of the text input to make the adjustment.

Anyone had a go at it?

Big thanks to Goat for all his wicked hacks, made an okay phone much better dude!

Those modded files should have increased your volume for everything. Have you rebooted your phone? Try using a different alert sound. Not sure if it can be done with ebuddy.
