DM settings in Internals

I went into the protocol settings and then into device management at the bottom. I hit "more" or whatever and hit Start DM or something like that. My phone showed two arrows pointing at each other at the top next to the time, and it showed the data transfer icon at the top. After, it reboots and says the software update failed. It keeps saying software update failed every time the phone reboots itself, unless you go into the Internals again. Once in the Internals, your phone is safe from the reboot loop, and then you have to go into the device manegment again. Then, you have a few seconds to get in, then change the settings that the phone uses to access the internet. Just delete some letters off of the "wap.cingular" name, and then delete the username or password if you can. The phone should reboot or the data tranfer should stop. If it reboots, the phone should be okay afterward.

IDK, this worked for me after I screwed up, and I don't use the data anyway.
