Hello ^_^

New to the site, got my Samsung Impression when we signed up with At&t back in September 09'.  It's been out of comission for almost a year and now I have gotten around to finally fixing it.  Learned my lesson in not having the phone in the bathroom with me while showering due to condensation, only to have my toddler drop it in his potty chair after peeing in it >.<.  Even through all of that it still comes on just minus the screen being blank.  Eager to have it back up and working

Thanks.  You and I both, I'm just waiting for a flex cable to arrive in the mail, eager to get it fixed, had to break a lil of the frame of the keyboard but its minor to where I don't believe it will affect anything.  The screw was stripped >.< yikers

Yes those little screws strip easily. My flex cable came with a screw driver set. There were a couple of screws that it wanted to strip.  This usually means the screw driver is not correct for the screw.   Luckily I have a very nice minature screw driver set. Took those almost stripped screws out easily.

I temporarily have a set from Home Depot for $10 and after I'm done repairing the phone, I'm taking the tools back lol, but yea I got worried when the screw stripped and its the same screwdriver I used for the other screws.  Besides some parts are tarnished with rust.
