Samsung Impression - Introduce Myself

Hi!!! I am classicoldster and new to the forum. I purchased an Impression a week ago. I'd like to be able to use it to observe my home surveillance system. I've been able to install the .jar and .jad files but have not been able to connect to the dvr via the internet. After entering the past word, one of two events occur.
1. An hour glass appears and never goes away.
2. I receive an error message that says: Login failed, Network Function has be Blocked. (That's the exact wording).

Any ideas? Huh

I enjoy the forum very much!!!

How did you install? Using TKFE?

Unfamiliar with that application so I cant help too much there.

Thank You for your reply. I think the forum is the bomb! I've found a lot of information that has been very useful.
I did use Tkfe to install and followed the steps listed in the forum. I think that is why the second attempt was somewhat successful. I have been able to re-install the .jad/.jar files and I can now view the cameras. The problem now is the picture of a camera will show for a second or two and is then replaced by a green square that is the same size as the picture. The picture does not re-appear. This occurs with all 16 cameras. Picture for a second or two and the green square appears. I will try to upload the files in hopes that you may see something that I've missed. I do appreciate your time.

Yes if you installed using TKFE then you did all you can on this end. Quite possible it is just not completely compatible. Do they have any other versions of the jad and jars that you could try?

NO. It looks like the techs at Q-see has reached their level of incompetency.

. They think that the 'Impression' is just not compatible with the dvr. I'll keep pluggin......
