I don't have an Impression yet.  So far it seems like an excellent choice. This is a fantastic website.  I almost can't wait to get the phone.

I have to find out if I can go to Delphi forums with the phone and post.  I just added a data plan to my 6126 (Nokia) and I can't get to the forum (at least so far)  I'm thinking maybe the Impression can.

I'd rather not go to a phone that requires a $30 a month data plan.  I have a place in Idaho without a land line to get Internet and we have a truck camper that we hope to be doing some major trips in.  When I can't get WIFI, I need  (OK, want) a way to get online, read some news, and interact on Delphi.

Maybe be there one day.  Going up to Fruitland this coming Thursday (or Friday depending on what time I finish work) for a couple of weeks.

Do you know if you can get on most websites with the Impression or is it just those with mobil sites?

Well umm I own an Eternity also like Quig but I can tell you that the buit-in browser is so so. From what Agoattamer has told me your phone has a slightly better browser than ours. This forum and the Eternity forum have a mobile site. I know next to nothing about Delphi forums.

Enough of that nonsense. I'm 99% sure that you can use any of these third party browsers to do what you want Full Screen Browsers w/ Landscape Mode They all are top notch browsers. Grin

You can go to any webiste you want with the media net browser. If it has a mobile website then the phone will choose to use that one by default.

The other browsers that Bantam introduced to you work nice for showing full HTMl just like you wouold see it on your pc.

I got my Impression Wednesday!!  Other than not knowing how to turn it on (and off) everything has been working well.  I'm at my place in Idaho (actually at my son's right now where I get INTERNET).  I can't wait to get back to Kalifornia where I can print out the instructions for the programs you guys have made available (and goat breaking).

I ended up with ATT Navigator for at least a month or two to get the rebate.  It's now available for $20 a month with the unlimited data plan and the unlimited data plan is $15 a month by itself.  So it only costs $5 a month extra.  Not too bad but will probably try the goat broke Amaze program I've seen talked about here.

No texting Jim?

I haven't figured any reason to have texting.  If I should, I can always send a few at $0.20 each.  A lot cheaper than $5.00 for 200 or $20 for unlimited ($30 for unlimited data and texting--I think).

I haven't researched it yet but I couldn't find any way to answer on the Impression.  I could read posts but not answer.
