New Impression owner for about 3 days.

I been reading for the last 3 days.  There are some good techs working on phone issue here.
I have dome some Moto modding and some Wii modding.  Interested in doing some here on the impression.
I have a problem I can't get PC studio for the impression of eternity to install. Some kid of error, installation of assembly component. I have a screen copy if anyone can help Windows XP . and stops and asks to reload. I was able to get PC studio to install on a work PC but don't want to use it to do really any work on the phone.

I checked Microsoft update and no priority updates, some NET framework and Explorer 8, I am using Firefox and its is a 32 bit system. Should I disable my anti virus during the install since it looks like its right at the end during registration?
