Supposedly this phones awesome, but idk how to do anything!

Welcome to the forums.

There's a lot of great info here and I would recommend reading an entire thread about whatever it is you're interested in doing.  Everything is laid out in a way that allows you to help yourself from start to finish and then ask questions if you run into problems.  The SEARCH bar at the top of every page is extremely useful and as always Google is also a great tool.

So,

PM = Private Message (email within the forums under the "My Messages" tab)
Flashing = just like you would flash a computer bios, our phones firmware can be replaced/fixed by "flashing" it - lots of threads on it so start reading
Accelerometer - the phone has one (if you've ever played with the dice app, that's it) but we have had difficulty opening it up so that we can use accelerometer games with it

Best advice is this:  HELP YOURSELF FIRST, then when you're still stuck, ask for help, that's why we're around
