Hello All, a friend of mine has the Samsung seek, and I searched both these forums, and google for a site like this one for that phone. I know that on this forum, there wasn't a good chance of me finding any information regarding it. Thank you all for your help so far on this Forum. I have had a little trouble with Windows 7 64 bit with my phone...That with Windows XP issues trying to dual boot, the phone of mine has had its fair share of issues. But I am still figuring that part out.

Hmm, I guess that if no one else finds something within a week or so, I will just have to tell him that he will be stuck with the "normal" functions of his phone.

But one thing that he really wanted, was getting pictures in messages. He is with Sprint, and on his plan Internet is blocked. Problem for him is that in order to see or download the picture, his phone needs the internet. He does have the unlimited messaging plan. If I can at least get an answer to him regarding that, I will be happy  Smiley

If he has blocked data then there is no way that I am aware of that will allow him to receive pics via text messaging because pics require data transfer. It is not even possible to do on the impression. On the upside his phone has the same screen resolution as ours and supports j2me So if he can figure out how to connect his phone via tkfe most of our games and apps should work on his phone. But I have no idea what drivers he can use or if tkfe will even work on his phone.

Okay, I will try to get him to follow the directions here, and see if it will work with his phone. Are you sure with the no pictures? I have data blocked on my phone, yet I can still send and receive picture messages. I am obviously with AT&T and have unlimited texting though...

Your friend may also be interested in reading this thread regarding sprints so called unlimited messaging plan. It is from 2009  So maybe they have change there policy since but I thought it was intersting.

Hmm...Very interesting. I just emailed my friend the link. Thanks for your help Smiley I will post back when I walk him through the TKFE...I doubt he will want to do it by himself.

Haha Okay, I will tell him that. It is at least worth a try, and if it doesn't work, I will try editing things inside his phone, and the driver file till I get it to work.
