Hello one and all Smiley

I am currently searching for a tablet pc, but I am not willing to pay $500+ for one. I was looking around, and the "HiVision SpeedPad" and the Marvell “Moby” Tablet were possibilities, but according to the sources I have found, they aren't released yet. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any experience with the Tablet PC would also help.

Things I would like for it to be capable of doing, (whether bought, downloaded, or 'hacked')

1 "virtual" instrument or native sound editing software (like FL Studio/similar although FLS you have to buy)
2 ability to output/input audio to/from my desktop computer so I can edit and piece things together
3 And basic internet uses (email, google, etc)

I don't care for webcams, will probably never be used if it comes with one, and I wouldn't use this for games (That is what my desktop is for) I would prefer to spend below $200 on it, but possibly going up to $300-$350.

As far as OS is concerned...I am not familiar with the Andriod OS, and currently I am running Windows 7 HP on my desktop. So basically there, I am open for suggestions...Windows, Android, Linux etc

Thank you all for helping  Grin

I definitely understand the price concerns... I was blown away by the Galaxy Tablet's price of $600.  I haven't heard of any of the ones you mentioned, but heard through the grapevine that Apple is coming out with a newer ipad within the next few months (possibly as soon as January).... I betcha the original one will go down in price now that it will be three generations old... something to think about!

Merry Christmas.

I don't know if I am allowed to post on top of my other post...and sorry if I am not allowed to.

But What do you think of this? Do you guys believe it is legitimate? or do you think it is a fake?

Here is the "official website" of the Pandigital Novel...

It looks like a Kindle meets iPad deal...what do you think? Is it worth the 200 dollars? It is definitely within my price range =) so that is a plus
