Long time no talk, Impression forum!!!! I love this place, glad to poke in again!!!!!!!

It is with the fondest of memories I mourn the last months of my Impression's life and look toward my future prospects; I will soon turn to T-Mobile (probably around...May? Seems far, but I plan ahead  Wink) for a 2-year family plan contract, unlimited talk and text, no data (I can explain how I'd benefit, without data).

In light of that, any good Android phones from the free promos?

http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/phones/?pricerange=0-0#

Goat and E.Cadro, WHAT'S UP, GUYS?!?!?!?!  Grin

I really turn to you two (though this is happily open for the advice and perusal of others!)

-I ruled out the Wildfire forever ago, Goat's orders.  Cool
-I experimented with the design physically for the Sidekick in the World's Most Ghetto and Unhelpful T-Mobile Store (they didn't even have the display-phones turned ON!). Soon thereafter, I eliminated it, as the slide of the screen is advertised via c-net/other video reviews to be CRISP, while it really is frighteningly brittle. Plus, Goat AGAIN advised against sliders.
-The Smart is lame, lol

My real question:

Samsung Galaxy S
vs.
T-Mobile G2x
vs.
LG Optimus T
vs.
Samsung Dart

Any ideas? Cheesy THANKS!

I'm focusing on the phones I specifically mentioned because they're free as promos and T-Mobile (which I'm definitely switching to, though much much later).

And this data issue:
I have Optimum IO TV, Internet, and Voice, so I get to use the hotspots they conveniently built all around the country; by that logic, I'd almost never need data and can use Wi-Fi for everything almost anywhere!!!
Which means that I'm totally open to Droids. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

So, please, of these phones, what would you have to say (good/bad) about any/all of them?
All advice appreciated!!!!! Thanks!

UPDATE: And I know that my "This Entire Forum Is..." thread devotes like 2 pages to this topic, but I figured that
A)That particular topic was dead, lol
B)Much time (and certain conditions) have changed since...necessitating a new thread. I will also have to bring up that a certain phone-master by the name of Agoattamer openly extended assistance to me about other phones way back when in the aforementioned thread, lol  Grin Hope you guys don't mind!!!! On a separate note, I also have some advice of my own to those with the luxury of worrying only about themselves in matters of phones and plans. Either REPUBLIC WIRELESS OR SIMPLE MOBILE! PERFECT PLANS ($19/$50 for EVERYTHING) AND YOU GET TO USE ANY PHONE OF YOUR CHOICE SO LONG AS YOU ALREADY OWN IT AND HAVE IT UNLOCKED TO THEIR CARRIER!!!!! That is all for now Cheesy

Well it all depends what you want. The T-mobile G2x would be my pick of the 4.  It has the most features by far of the 4. The biggest con for this monster is going to be battery life. But it has all the bells and whistles. If you want something smaller then I would go with the Optimus T. Smaller size, lower features, less memory, better battery life, but a solid little phone. I have changed my opinion on LG phones.  They may not be the most solid feeling phone but these things just work and work well.

But when May comes around these phones may not be here or there may be others.  May is a long ways away.

HEY GOAT!!!!!!!! Cheesy

Thanks a lot, man, definitely will investigate the Optimus and G2x in a REAL T-Mobile store tha turns ON the displays, see which interface I like better... lol

I had an LG Vu before my Impression and it was a WONDERFUL device. LG is pretty solid Smiley

And yes, May is forever away, I agree and understand... But definitely many thanks!
