Well ATT just released a new UI on their new Quick Messaging phones that allows all their new phones to have threaded messaging standard. If we could just get ATT to update the Impression software, we would get threaded messaging and everything else the new Samsung Sunburst has. I would love to see ATT update the Impression

That would be great. i love the threaded messaging. I really hope that ATT willl consider the update. I am constantly chsecking my phone settings for an update.

I just got my phone a few days ago and considered sending it back because it didnt have the threaded texting. I never had a phone that didnt. It's certainly a pain. It would be great if they would update that in the software.

Side note... the Impression was an upgrade. The phone I upgraded FROM had threaded texting.

Yeah, pretty damn pissed that it doesn't have threaded messaging. I currently have the Strive, which DOES have threaded texting, but the keyboard is a vertical slider, and full QWERTYs just DON'T belong on vertical phones. They just DON'T.

I'll be switching to the Impression tomorrow. If not having threaded texting is too disgusting, then I guess I'll go back to the Pantech Impact, which DID have threaded texting, AND a horizontal physical QWERTY.

I have never had a phone with threaded messaging. My friend (who has the LG Rumor 2 on Sprint) has a phone with threaded messaging. I've played around with it, and (maybe it's just the Rumor's messaging system that sucks) I don't really like threaded messaging. It would be cool if threaded messaging is implemented properly, a la built-in IM Application.
