I'm guessing that someone has already thought of this, but nothing came up in my search so I had this idea... what if we just used TK file explorer to just take the locked screen photos (such as Bridge at Sunset.bmp) and replace them with images of our own, with the same name? Oviously we coulden't just put them in the same folder, so the only problem would be making images of the same size, right?  Cheesy

(btw, I'm guessing I'm wrong, or that this solution would be far too limited for most people, but I just want to know if anyone has tried or though of this.)

Shino336

(P.S. The location of the photos I'm talking about is in phone/SystemFS/Media/Pictures)

Hi, I'm not tech at all, but, I've read on here many times that it is not possible? You might try searching again, I found lots of info. You can bet a tech will be along & let you know what they've tried. Quig

Those photos may look like the screensaver but that is not where they pull the pics from.

They are pulled from a hidden folder I believe that only QPST can see. And they are all grouped together in a rbm file which cant be opened or edited.  That is what I have figured out so far.

Please Goat, find a way to change that damn picture. I believe in you. The locked screen is easily my least favorite part about this phone so far!

If you don't need to lock your phone, then those pictures will never show up and the one that you chose as your wallpaper will be shown 100% of the time (like what I do).  Grin

But if you do need to lock it, then the solution hasn't been found...yet.

He didnt say he set a custom wallpaper...he said he set one of the wallpapers that appears on the locked screen as his main wallpaper, and apparently that makes ur locked screen show the same image as ur wallpaper...have not checked this out, and not planning to =/.

If you don't lock the screen on your phone (or have it set to automatically lock), then whatever custom wallpaper you designate will always show up and be the default one.

I wonder if someone's willing enough to make a fake PhoneLock widget. It could be able to apply a desired background and make it impossible to mess with the screen until you press something on the keyboard.

There is an app/game or whatever you want to label it. It's here on the forum, I believe it's in the Games section with all the fullscreen apps/games. I'm at work right now so I can't copy/paste the link here on my phone for obvious reasons. Just check it out.

Is it possible that the rbm file is actually a binary image file? From the quick reading I did it looks like barcodes can be displayed as images and use the rbm file extension.  Don't know if this is any help at all but maybe someone with more time and experience would find the info useful.
