Im not sure if im in the right place, but I searched before i created. I went into my phone settings to change the time. for some reason my phone restarted and now it comes up DEMSBL BOOT Loader for MSM6290. I want to know can this be fixed, or so i have to reflash my phone. Is the firmware available for the impression yet?

Yes and no. A member (Firebert?) has found the prerelease and original firmwares (aka T9 bug firmware) but not the current one (A877UCID3). Also, we haven't worked on reflashing the phone yet, so you really can't do anything. Just go to the ATT store, act stupid or something and they will probably replace the phone.

Take battery out, put back in boot loader screen should go away. This screen shows up some times when I plug charger in to phone. this fix works for me. Later---

LOL.....that's some serious stream of conciousness right there and more than one problem, plus you did a horrible job of hijacking someone else's post that has nothing to do with your issues.

First off, have you read your phone's manual?  This would be a great place to start and help yourself, before you ask questions that you can answer on your own...(this will answer your 'no event' issues)

Not enough info to help you with the dropped calls.  Have you recalibrated the touch screen?  This would help with the next couple Q's.

Seriously though, do some searching and reading and you'll find you can answer most of these questions on you own.

My phone does this every time the texting bug hits...and the Event widget is useless. It doesnt do anything at all...ever...even when there is an event. Haha! I really wish companies worked harder to get bugs out of software lie these before releasing phones. Makes them look bad!

FYI... the UCID3 version still has the sms full texting bug. and all have a pesky eq bug.

Yea we know that we have a different bug in the current one. The T9 bug was worse though because the phone would crash by pressing i and a space after it.

Couldnt we still flash our phones with the old firmware as a temporary fix until we find the new one? i believe i got my phone after the update so i didnt have a problem with that bug but it seems like if you dont use t9 then it shouldnt matter anyways right? just seems obvious. bricked phone, or a bug that only crashes then phone when using t9. that would at least give everyone the ability to play with the internals more without worrying about bricking it.

Yeah, but we don't have a firmware that works with the Qualcomm Multiloader.

We do have the SPTBOX firmware files...if you have that SPTBOX thingy you could flash it.

There is no SPT flash file to Qualcomm firmware converter. You could try making one yourself if you really wanted one.  Wink
