I have been reading on some other boards about flashing phones with similar brands. Such as the Samsung Omnia to the Samsung Eternity. I just did not know if this was possible. Thanks for the info

Dont believe everything you see on the eternity site. We cannot flash our phone with any other firmware that wasnt made for our impression. And niether can they.
They are all dreaming.

I know this is border line trolling. I'm supposed to be here to just share my stupid games and crap. I'm getting sour in my old age or is Quig near by? The stench...

I actually spent several hours today trying out a bunch of numbers. I even went through each files and open them up to see if the master key was perhaps hidden in there and still had no luck. I did find a firmware for the touchscreen I believe but nothing else yet.

OK Mr. Borderline Troll, ditto'ing demonic_crow, I searched for hours through the phone's files system to no avail (including duplicating it and searching on my my desktop, grep'ing like a madman), and tried some other things that I'm surprised did not brick my phone (more times than I already have.) Beyond that, I've got a toddler and an infant to care for who would starve if I were to spend more time on this project... my wife already wants to throw my Impression out the window I hope, sir, that my dedication is up to scratch

I prefer to let the newbs on the eternity forum get it for us. We have more important things like widgets that work on our phone and a gps that connects.

Got you beat... I'm on my 3rd Impression! (i.e. I've done it twice) 1st: (might not count as bricking, but just as good) I was playing with the lock codes... ooops. 2nd: the ridiculous widget download freeze.

I can give you a piece of advice. If you se a widget called morewidget or morewidget2 dont bother. Got them from the same place as the accuweather and the google search. They are supposed to go to a database to download more widgets from a widget store. Both say insert sim for verification. Boo!
