Hey guys,

So I got the Samsung Impression...obviously. But one of the things I noticed after i bought it was that I am not able to plub a standard aux cord into it and play it in my truck or at home. Does anybody know of an adapter or standard cord that hooks into the samsung plub so that I would be able to plug it dirrectly into my aux hole in my truck. Or any other ways i might be able to rig it up so i could play music off my phone in my truck like my old LG?

Thanks

sup yall, just wanna say that i have found this forum to be very useful!!
so i went and bought a bluetooth stereo headset for $30 online. it has a mini 1/8 inch output built in for phone headsets, or you can use the set of stereo head phones it usually come with. my bluetooth stereo headset also came with a mini 1/8 inch to regular 1/8 inch cable, which is what i use to go from my bluetooth stereo headset to my aux in on my car stereo. it works perfect with the media player that come with my samsung impression. my bluetooth stereo headset has stop, play, forward and rewind buttons that work with my media player on my impression.

hope this was useful!!!

Yes bluetooth works well but this thread was discussing the need for an adapter for a wired headphone jack.

yes bluetooth works well! and yes this discussion is partly about a wired adapter too! but if you pay attention to the last sentence of the original post (Or any other ways i might be able to rig it up so i could play music off my phone in my truck like my old LG?
), this discussion is also about other alternatives to a wired adapter!!

DOES the WIRED adapter work to plug the impression into the aux in your car stereo? I would really like to know. Thanks!

If the aux input in your car is a standard minijack (1/8" connector like regular headphones) then the answer is YES. If it's some weird size that the car company wants you to buy their proprietary cord then NO; but most aux inputs in cars these days are the standard size.

I posted this same thing in another topic but I will post it here too. If your car radio does NOT have an AUX plug on it, you can get a cable that plugs into the back of the car radio into the CD changer plug that has a standard male headphone jack on the other end and use the Impression adapter as shown in the pic and there ya go, you can now use your Impression as an MP3 player in your vehicle. I will also include a video just for a visual. Hope this helps!

what i use to play music is  da earphone adapter that u could buy on amazon, ebay, etc for like 5  bucks and then buyin  an AUX cable for $15(or even  less) so that would be less than the $30 nd u save up money
