They've discussed how to override that somewhere in the forums... Re: how long do tones have to be? « Reply #2 on: September 01, 2009, 11:53:59 AM » Just like she said, there is no time limit, but the size of the file has to be less than 300kbs...The phone will only ring for 20 seconds anyways unless u call ATT and have them lengthen it, i believe they can make it ring for 30 seconds max. You can do that yourself from your phone. Menu/settings/calls/voice calls/call fowarding/no reply and change waiting time up to 30 seconds and hit activate.
