  I don't know where else to post this.  I wanted to know if it's possible to make a program or app so the phone can rotate/cycle through the wallpapers in the same way like the Cyclo DS (flash carts for DS) everytime it is turned on.

I understand that most of the topics are for making contributions only.  So for mods, feel free to delete this topic or move it.

I've looked through the different types of apps and hacks given/contributed by people on here.  I really appreciate the time and effort given by these people.  Otherwise, the phone wouldn't be as great as it should be.

I dont know about cycling through the pics as that would actually require an app. But if you had a few backgrounds you wanted to use, you could combine them into a gif. Should be easily accomplished and the time between can be set.

If you dont know how to do this you could upload the backgrounds here and i could combine them for you. Let me know how much time between pic changes.

  No.  I don't know how to do it.  But if you could provide me with the name of the program, i can find it in google.  I can then just do it myself.

I use Ulead Gif Animator. Its not a free program. I dont know of any good free ones out there.

Try Gimp. It can do wonders. I made this in like 30 seconds or less.

Well, if you are asking about how to do it with Gimp I'm not going to make a tutorial here about it because there is so much stuff on the interweb already about how to make an animated gif.

Basically, though, you 'Open As Layers...' all the pictures you want (I probably wouldn't do too many) then save it as a gif. When you do that a dialog will open where you can enter the delay between frames.

I haven't done anything with animated backgrounds on my phone so you will just have to experiment with how many pictures you can have and the delay between them.

*Edit* Apparently there are two topics about animated backgrounds.
