I'm a new samsung impression user.  Currently wading through the manual. I already turned off most of the vibrating and lowered screen brightness. Or perhaps the GPS not on unless it is actively being used? Yes the Police 911 Dispatcher can tell you what U.S. Postal address you are at when you call & before you ask all public roads have 911 addresses assigned even where there are no active residential addresses.
