Check your bill for purchases

I just checked with att about my bill. There is a block that can be placed on your phone and only deactivated if you type in a 4 digit pin number that att supplies to you by email. There's No charge for the service!!!!

I pressed Where too (it didn't say anything about paying money). Currently it doesn't show up on the Purchases and Downloads though. Is this normal (it taking a week to show up?)

Those sneaky "Fargin Bastages". I am hung with the "where" charges also. "Where" do I go to kick someones butt? "Where" do they get the right to sneak in charges. "Where" does AT&T get the KAHOONAS to think we will stand up for this. I am sorry for the rant, I humbly climb down from my soapbox. In closing I hope the fleas of a thousand camels infest their crotches and their arms be too short to scratch it.

There are a lot of third party companies that will use all kinds of underhanded loopholes to bill stuff to your account. Any time a website asks for your phone number do NOT use your mobile number. Get a Google voice account, and use that number instead.

Also, if at any point you've given your mobile number on an account registration CHECK THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS before accepting them. Many companies will have it in there that you are also agreeing to a charge on your bill even if you have no idea what that charge is.

And call customer service if all else fails. AT&T has a free service called Purchase Blocker that prevents ALL charges from appearing on your bill. Even legitimate ones. It's a pain if you regularly purchase things like Ringback Tones or anything like that, but most of us probably don't pay for anything we don't have to do we?
