Full Touch Screen AmazeGPS

I picked up this little tip from Americo and it worked great on AmazeGPS. This will convert the Pixon version of Amaze to Full Touch Screen. You have to use the Pixon version instead of the Eternity version to connect to a bluetooth gps.

You will need

*TKFileExplorer 
*Samsung Impression or Eternity
*Bluetooth Enabled Pc/Usb Cable
*working computer
*an installed Pixon version of amazegps

1. Connect your phone to t.k File explrer using the usb cable

2. Go to EXE -> Java --> Games --> Amaze

3. Upload Manifest.mf, the jad file, and the jar file to a folder on your computer

-In jad put this in at the end of the file using notepad to open it, edit it, and save it:

MIDlet-Touch-Support: True
UseNativeTextButtons: false
ReverseSoftkeys: true
UseNativeCommands: false
LGE-MIDlet-TargetLCD-Height: 400
LGE-MIDlet-TargetLCD-Width: 240

In tham manifest.mf put this in the same way:

MIDlet-Touch-Support: True
UseNativeTextButtons: false
ReverseSoftkeys: true
UseNativeCommands: false
LGE-MIDlet-TargetLCD-Height: 400
LGE-MIDlet-TargetLCD-Width: 240

In the .jar file, navigate to  META-INF using winrar and then to the manifest.mf and edit it as above and resave it in winrar

UseNativeTextButtons: false
ReverseSoftkeys: true
UseNativeCommands: false
LGE-MIDlet-TargetLCD-Height: 400
LGE-MIDlet-TargetLCD-Width: 240

Download the 3 files back to the amaze folder on the phone

4.Disconnect from TK, unplug the phone and start up amaze after you have turned the bluetooth back on.

And there you have a full touch screen version of amazegps.

Amaze now wants frigging $33 for a ONE year license!  What a rip off!  It's far easier to just buy a GPS.  I think I paid $70 for a brand new one at Walmart last year.

Anyone know any free turn by turn GPS programs?  Google Maps is only turn by turn for Androids.
