Master Key for A877

The master key is not known for the impression and the eternity. Trust me when it is you will read about it on here.

There is a secret administrative menu you can get to. But you need to get to what is called the internals. The master key is a secret key that samsung and possibly att knows about and wont tell. It would allow settings on the phone to be changed. One big setting is to update the java database so members without a data plan can install games and apps without having to risk bricking their phones by deleting the phonedb_data.00 file.

I am not sure what is all in there. But that would be nice for alot of people. Unlocking the gps, and possibly all these signing requirements too.

Well that is kind of a mystery. When you go to enter the master key there is a 12 on the phone making you think there might be a total of 12. Past phones have had 7 digits with a *# on either side for a total of 11. Ex: *#1234567*#. The one thing that has been a pattern in past phones is each number is only used once in the code. So if we go with 7 digits then the possibilities are 10x9x8x7x6x5x4=604,800 possibilities.  So if you tried 500 a day it might take 1,210 days to find the code.

Yea me too!!! The best thing I heard from the ATT rep about GPS so far was you have to get the navigation package to enable the GPS tagging in pictures. I was tempted to do it to prove them wrong and have an excuse to get some free credit towards by bill but I grow tired of such games.
