Ok, so this is very frustrating... my phone died and my inbox was full at the time. I turned on the phone (charging), it booted up, then the notification said 8 new messages. I go to inbox, and it shows that there are only 4 new messages in the inbox like this:

Inbox (4)

where did the other four go? is there any way to recover them. make them show up? because when I deleted all my old messages, the 4 that didn't fit in never showed up...

Any expert advice appreciated, thanks!

Well i would check my email from my Pc or laptop they should still be there If not then they may have been ghost notifications (duplicates of the email notifications) I beleive I have read about this happening before. But not sure how to make them go away.

no, these were text messages... has nothing to do with computers... although, is there a way to keep an active backup of all my phone text messages? and I don't want them to go away, I wanna see what those messages were... hmm... try it. have your inbox full and send yourself couple of messages from another phone. see what happens.

PS. someone plz move this topic to help desk... I was browsing tips and tricks section and accidentally posted here. I even tried reporting myself, haha didn't work.
