I tried to use moccatroller after someone had posted asking about bluetooth remotes and someone responded with a site that had a few remotes.  This is the first JAR + server application I found and it didn't work for me.  I used rumkin to upload the jar and accessed it by having it send me a text with the link.  Possibly goatbreaking is necessary? Im new to this so I still need to look up how to do it and if it is even applicable. Here is the app: http://trent.gamblin.ca/Moccatroller/ I have the windows app waiting and the java app looking but the app wont find any servers.  Ill try the others suggested in that older thread.
thanks for the help goattamre.

nice, can it control the mouse with the d-pad?  Where did you add a new incoming connection? my computer and cell see each other because I can send things between the two via bluetooth.

well first of all you have to have bluetooth dongle and you have to open the settings for bluetooth go over to COM ports and add a new connection and make sure that it is incoming and it should work but i couldnt get  moccatroler to work.

MWRemote will use dpad to control everything or you can flip out the keyboard and use the arrow keys on the physical keybaord to control it but there really isnt a reason to use the mouse with the phone unless if for some reason your mouse on the computer broke but it works great with the browser and powerpoint which was the main reason i got it

**Edit**
If you want the latest version right now v2.4 get it from mobilewitch website

also to get it to connect you have to delete the manifest folder i beleive is the right one also to get it to connect i deleted my original connection to the phone on the computer as well on my phone and made a whole new one which made it connect dont know why this worked but it worked

also when i first opened the program and went to mouse mode in the screen above the dpad it shows the computer where the mouse is but then it stopped working and turned white and now i cant get it to show the screen again if anyone can figure how to get it to show the computer screen it would be excellent

Ill try it again. that manifest folder is one of the files that get deleted when you "goatbreak" im pretty sure, so that might be part of your success.  The reason why I might use the mouse feature is because I have my computer displayed on my television and I want to do more intricate things like start games or movies while im sitting on my bum.  I can have my wireless xbox controller on and start a game with the phone then switch to the game controller. Then hopefully I can turn in to cartman on that warcraft episode except without the warcraft.

I got MW to work, it isn't great as the iphone app that uses its wifi and acts basically like the touch pad on a laptop.  You need to delete like manifest and appdb or something and that did make it able to access the bt radio I believe.  I'm gonna test the other apps to see if there is anything that is a little more complete.
