Hey Everyone,

New to the forum and new to the Impression =)  First off, just wanted to say this is an awesome forum and I can't wait to get my new phone kickin in high gear thanks to you all.

I apologize if this has been brought up before (i did a search and have been perusing the board for days and haven't seen it), but do most, if not all, apps that work on the Eternity also work on the Impression?  I came across this site http://www.mobango.com/ and it has a lot of cool looking apps for the Eternity but doesn't have the Impression in its database.  Is it just a matter of trying them out and seeing if they work?  And if they don't work, is there any way/tricks to editing the .jar or .jad files to allow them to work on our phone?

Thanks!

All eternity games and apps will work on the impression. But not all impression apps and games will work on the eternity.

We have a few Solstice users on this forum, so i would assume it works just the same as the Impression, so the games and all/most apps should work the same on the Solstice.

If it works on the eternity and impression it will work on the solstice. Not all solstice apps will work on the eternity or impression though.

Okay, first I offer my humblest apologies if this has already been covered.  [A search of topics only presented this one as a viable solution...which unfortunately didn't help me much.]

I am a complete newb and I cannot get the Eternity apps to work on my Impression.  I tried downloading them directly onto my phone through my phone's internet connection and it refused, saying that the phone I held in my hand was an Impression, not an Eternity and, therefore, could not accommodate me.

I have New PC Studio, and while I can figure out how to transfer pictures, audio files  and my calendar, I cannot figure out how to add apps via this POS program [if this is indeed possible.]

Again, my humblest apologies if this has been covered everywhere.  As I said before, I'm a complete newb.

Thank you in advance for any advice.

Sounds like you need to install with TKFE.  Do a search for install and TKFE, fairly simple.
