Here is the lastest version of the Bolt Browser.... it's v2.10.   already goatbroken and should be ready to go

Download listed on first post already.  And it is not goatbroken. Evidentally you have no idea what goatbroken means. It does not mean making it fullscreen. It must be done on your phone using TKFE.

Just updated my Opera using Goatbreak TkEx method and all is great except I have to double tap through the Blue Text screen when entering text.. I thought the newest JAD/JAR corrected this problem??

I take it I'm mistaken thinking the new Opera Jad eliminates the blue text screen??

It does not. All third party apps will display the blue screen.

Hey Agoatt...

Followed all this, only varience was I used Rumkin to upload, and I am still getting the blue screen when I want to type - ex. Facebook login.

Any thoughts?

Here are signed jads for opera mini 5.0 and bolt. Full screen hack has been added. Upload the jad either to

Davidpye or
http://www.davidpye.com/index.php?page=freewap

WapHQ
http://www.waphq.net/index.php    <----My preference

And follow the directions for the one you choose to download to your phone.

Also I added the rotate in the jad also. When you open the slider it puts it in landscape and you can type  in the text boxxes without double tapping and going through the big blue screen. Works real nice in landscape with the keyboard. You have arrows to pan around too.

When using the slider for bolt to type the internet address in directly go menu/preferences and put a check in 'Inline Editing' then save

Edit 9/16/09
I also now included the jar files so you can just install the browsers using the new TKFE install method. If you do not install with TKFE you will need to goatbreak the browsers to be able to use them to download files.

Edit 3/19/10
Opera Mini 5.0 has been released and added. It will update 4.2 if you have that installed on your phone.

Edi2 4/15/10
Updated Bolt to new v1.7 and added bolt 2.02 beta. Both versions have same name and will install over top of the other. So you must pick your version. Because they are named the same you will have to download the appropriate zip file and extract the jar and jad as needed.

Edit 6/2/2010
Bolt 2.10 added

For the Opera Mini, can you describe what's new in relation to the prior version?

Thanks,

Keep Smiling.

PS. Did you know that Goatbreaking is now legal? (No linger included in the DMCA Act?

For the Opera Mini, can you describe what's new in version 5.1 relation to the prior version (5.0)?

The web page only details the differences among 4.2, 5.x and 10.0.

Thanks,

Keep Smiling.

After updating from 5.0 to 5.1, it seems like the scrolling speed is a lot better now on my Solstice. Here's something I found that gives more details about the 5.1 update: http://wapreview.com/blog/?p=7335

It does not. All third party apps will display the blue screen.

I got a question. With BOLT, there is no blue screen and I can type text straight in the browser with the QWERTY with no hassle, but with OM, with is my preferred browser, I have to deal with the blue screen double click every time I need to type text. Whats the deal here?

UPDATE - alrite, I figured out that with the opera keyboard setting enabled, I am able to use the physical QWERTY without the blue screen nag which is an improvement but not as nice as the default browser or bolt because the touch keyboard pops up everytime. If there is a way around this I would love to know. Also when i use the FN key or shift key on the physical keyboard to type, the letter/symbols repeat itself until I press another key (ex. @@@@@@@ instead of @ ) Dont know if this is a opera bug or some deal with the impression. Anyone else experience this? Pretty annoying. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
