OK, I am going crazy.  I have already gotten everything to work on my old phone just fine, now when i do it on a new phone I am not getting the full screen version and it won't even load all the way i get vNull and it loads about 75 percent, but there is also the dpad below...i have restarted, i have deleted and downloaded everything again a few times and i have gone crazy...any suggestions?? I am so lost...also every time i disconnect and then reconnect in TKFE the appdb folder is back in there. i will delete it and then disconnect and then it is back....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Did you copy the jad from here to the folder and then rename it EXACTLY as the jar? Except with a .jad extension. Then delete the appdb folder again.

The addb folder does come back each time. It is supposed to.

I was naming it after a previous jad that i downloaded....thanks for the help!  Grin

This is Google Maps, not turn by turn GPS navigation; although, you can get that with Amaze GPS for free as opposed to paying AT&T.

goat i have read the earlier post about the tkfe, but i'm still ost when it gets to #5,6,and 7. It looks like it should be simple but are there any layman instructions when it gets there?

It is simple once you get TKFE to connect. Do you have your phone's USB setting on PC-studio? Can you get a com port in TKFE?

ok here's what i do know, is that when i connect my phone to my computer via the data cord what pops up is a select usb mode screen and it is set for pc studio out of the choices of media player and mass storage. it that what i need it to be on? and then what??

You have it set on ask. Set it on pc studio. menu/settings/connectivity/select usb mode and set on pc-studio mode and save. Then reboot your phone and try and connect.

i feel like I'm going to need someone holding my hand most of the way. I've got it set on pc studio instead of ask,now am i trying to connect the phone to the computer? how do i go about doing that.

OK, you have me really confused noe. I have no clue where you are or what you have done.

Were you able to connect with TKFE? And actually see all the phones files without getting an error?
