I am unable to delete rename the .jad file once it is downloaded to the phone.  I could remove the two other files but once i downloaded the jad file to the phone, it wouldn't let me rename or delete it.  error says unable to rename the specified file. same error when i try to delete it.  i rebooted the phone and reconnected the cable but still no change.  any ideas?

Reboot the phone, then rename it BEFORE you upload it to your phone.  I had the same problem, thats what I did, and it works great.

disregard.  I had to reboot in this order.  the phone (while disconnected), the computer, and then the phone once more.  reconnected the computer and now i can delete/rename the files. so much work to get things to work right.  I also, just got this phone replaced due to fact that i was not able to delete any folders that i created.  I not sure but i think this one has a newer firmware on it.  I will check these forums later to see what others had.

I'm just wondering, what happens if Google Maps can't pick up a gps signal?  Will it try to triangulate your location from the cell towers then?

I only ask because I often have trouble getting a gps signal with Amaze so I assume that it might happen with Google Maps too.

Thanks in advance.

If you have trouble getting a gps signal with your phone it is 1 of 2 possiblilties.

Try rebooting your phone before you start the app.

Or are you getting a good data connection and are you outside in the open sky. If you dont get a data connection you will not get a gps lock. So if you are not close enough to cell towers you wont get that triangulation either. The signal for triangulation is the same signal with the cell towers that gets the gps lock.

well since i now have google maps and the the gps works with it now, is there really any real reason to use att navigator software?  I mean if the amaze and google work why pay for the navigation part.  anyone agree?

I think many people agree. You really dont see many posts on navigator because most arent willing to pay that amount of money for that app. Might as well buy a garmin or a TomTom

I love this application and it works great BUT...the blue input screens.  I know this is somewhat pervasive throughout the phone, but is there any way to remove them?  It's really annoying to have to click twice just to type anything.

Also, is there anyway to add a shortcut to a specific game or app?  Or do you always have to go to Menu->Games & Apps and select the one you want?

We cant get rid of the blue screens and there is no way to make any shortcuts.

Just to be clear:

Is this version (and method) to replace the "As an added bonus" method described in the Goatbreaking page?  Or does the GB procedure/method still need to be applied, after this method(top of this post)?

I ask because of the date discrepancies between the two posts, with the GB post coming after the June 7th 'GPS >WORKING,' post.

Also, are the Wap sites Davidpye and imserba equivalent, performing the same function?

Thanks.
