Thats what goatbreaking does. It allows all permissions. Works for no asks to the internet, allows your app to use the gps or the memory card.

Hi

I followed the manual from Agoattamer, got the app goatbroken. However I can't get past the "Terms of Use/region selection". The onscreen buttons "select" & "exit" don't respond. "Enter"/5 on the keyboard don't respond either. Sucks that our phone has no soft keys. I have run into the same issue with "Sims3" (from the eternity forums), couldn't get past the sim appearance page. Got it fixed reinstalling it with version from Agoattamer. It had bigger onscreen buttons, active.

Did you alter the jad in anyway? The soft keys in the dpad should work correctly. Select and exit are not the words but the soft key underneath.

Is this app any good, as in the quality of the video better? Just want to know if it's worth getting. Thanks!

I would say the quality is the same. But you are now viewing in a smaller portrait window instead of the stretched out landscape window so it looks better.

There is no d-pad present, the app is full-screen with "Select/exit" on the bottom (in portrait).
This what's in the jad:

What do you mean its fullscreen? This is not a touchscreen app. Why did you add the touchscreen codes?  If this is in the jad, it is there cause you put it there.  The dpad is needed for the youtube app.

The four lines I added to the jad are directly from the "Goatbreaking" manual. I was just following it, as directed. I guess it was silly of me to assume again that the manual is meant to be followed closely and the mentioned codes must be used.

Edit: I have removed the last 4 lines. It works now. Apparently this is the 1st time I actually observed a "d-pad". Thanks.

Yes you did the fullscreen mod perfectly. Except you can only do it to applications that are touchscreen applications. The youtube app is not a touchscreen application. You have no way of controlling it without the dpad.

Interestinglly enough, it is not. Perhaps the MediaNet/Youtube error has something to do with AT&T. I read somewhere online that they had an agreement which allowed the video's to use the built-in media player. Not sure how factual that is, though.

is there any update to this, about getting a "touch-screen" compatible version? (i hate having the d-pad bar at the bottom). I would imagine there is one out there ~SOMEWHERE~ as there is an iPhone app for this thing.... surely someone who has an iphone can hack the app and make it Java compatible?
i don't know. not my field. just curious.
Thanks!

And Goatman... THANKS FOR MAKING MY PHONE AWESOME! <3
