Does anyone know if its possible to use Latitude to constantly keep track of someone. My wife and I would like to have our daughters phone always visible, but it only seems to only be visible when the app is open. Is there any fix to this. If I used the minimize option rather than pause for the suspend button, and left the app always minimized would that work and how much data would that use? We have an unlimited data plan, and I think I read it's only really 5gig's. AT&T sells a service that does just this but they want $10 a month for it

if you have done the hack to truly minimize applications, found here:

http://www.samsung-impression.org/how-to-22/how-to-enable-applications-to-minimize-rather-than-suspend!/msg5511/#msg5511

then you should be able to run the g maps in the back ground so that it auto updates. however, that will use large amounts of data, will be easily closed by your daughter, and will drain the battery like no other.

there is also this thread that gives links to some possibilities.
