Successful Microphone Access!

I have found a Java program that can successfully access the microphone.
It is a sound recording app that records and it can save the recording to the same place that voice memos go.

And I also have an instrument tuner which supposedly can access the microphone, but doesn't.

I was hoping someone could possibly recompile both of these and possibly insert the microphone code into the tuner app to make it work.
